Stage II – Transitional care & thoughtfulness

The gut experiences great challenges when a child is 6-36 months. The child goes through a transition from being breastfed to eating solid food and is slowly being exposed to new environments and germs. In this phase of life, it is particularly important to have a strong immune system and as at least 70% of the immune system is located in the gut, it may be beneficial to support the child’s gut microbiota with probiotics.

Recommended for: 6-36 months
